It's bucketing down rain today in Toronto and the winds are lashing the trees: weather for ducks and also Duck.
Sure, it's down in a terrible, no-good, very bad food court, but I've grown to rely on this place for restorative bowls of chewy udon noodles in broth, topped with thinly sliced Chinese barbeque pork and lots of ginger and scallion and given a jolt with a hefty dollop of sirracha. And all for around six bucks.
N.B: Not only is this my second noodle post today, it will probably be the last one for a few weeks. D. and I are off on vacation and won't get back till late June. Don't worry, though: I'll be sure to tell you all about it.
